Description
This is an award winning photograph. The first shot was off balance as I used the window as a frame, what I didn't realize is that the windows are an angled design for earthquakes. Adjustment for the lines worked for the shot I was after, buildings behind at a distance. You can see one tourist sitting on the steps and a man behind her - they give some sense of the vastness of just one area, and put it into perspective. The fact that the bricks are perfectly cut, like Egyptian Pyramids, without mortar is incredible. The place is vast, it takes a day to see it all, there is a serene peacefulness here and I was in awe. I felt like I was in a huge church and the sheer beauty + waiting to get here for 5 years, was a tremendous reward, I cried. This World Heritage site is not to be missed in anybodies lifetime. Colors of grey, green, blue and brown would fit most office or home walls as fine art. Carol Komassa Photography
